After Leaving Notre Dame I kept heading East to West Virginia, where I stayed with a fellow A Co. machine gunner, Tyler Jenkins.
Jenkins joined the Marines when he was already in his mid-twenty’s so had a different perspective on being led by nineteen and early twenty year olds. I kept a similar focus with Jenkins as I did Tribell.
