I had the privilege of interviewing a rifleman, Sgt Remula, a Marine who was trained by Gysgt Tribell in 2nd platoon, on my first workup. Sgt Remula was one of the first in our peer group to be promoted to CPL, an NCO whilst still a ‘boot'.

After his first contract, he re-enlisted and eventually moved over to the reserve side of the Marine Corps.
